Demographics
Boomy personally resides in Alverton. He rules over the city alongside the druid circle known as the Circle of Dular. The circle consists of descendants of the original druids who lived within the Highlands before it was settled by the Copper Dragons. The city of Alverton is very much an equal opportunity place to live. The city ensures that those who work and provide a good or service to the city will be provided for, and it encourages citizens to do what they can to make as much or as little money they would like beyond that. Many are satisfied with the simpler life and choose to just take what they need to live, while others strive for more. Even some dragonkin live as small farmers or shop owners within the city. Few high-skill tradesmen live within the city, but mostly the city consists of skilled agriculturalists and druids. The population consists of humans, elves, half-elves, ratfolk, beastfolk, dragonkin, gnomes, and even a few fae who live within the city.
Government
Alverton functions under a Federalism form of government. Federalism is a form of government that both combines and divides powers between a centralized federal authority and an array of regional and local authorities. This is typically a system in which a set of states, territories, or provinces are both self-governing and beholden to the authority of a broad, unifying government structure. Boomy is the overall ruler of the Highlands; however, he gives power to different groups or individuals across his country to assist. Boomy is eccentric but a very smart ruler. He knows that the groups or individuals he has empowered know more about the city. Boomy rules over the city alongside The Circle of Dular.
Defences
The city is not protected by some great wall or huge military force. While many fear the numerous skilled druids that reside within the city or even those who may just be passing through something much greater that protects the city, the land itself, The world tree has a massive amount of control over the highlands and has always come to the aid of the cities when they are in need of protection. From shifting the landscape to sending droves of natural predators that live in the highlands to the defense of the city, This is not to say there are no guards or orders within the city. It is just not on the same scale as any other capital city.
Industry & Trade
The majority of highlanders have little use for trade. Many are content with what they have and what the land provides for them. Trade that happens within the city is usually done for individual shops or business owners.
Infrastructure
Alverton has done its best as a city to not intrude upon the land they live in. They have no huge castles or walls that destroyed the wildlife or flora in the highlands. They built their homes and shops around the existing land, forming a connection between the city and the land. Some even used dead or dying trees for the basis of their buildings as a way to keep the natural feel of the land and ensure it lives on forever.
Assets
With the connections many highlanders have with the land, many have vast fields of growing crops of various uses. The highlands are home to the most diverse plant life in all of Agodale. From crops used for general consumption to unique flora used for alchemical means, The Highlanders are also some of the most skilled conjuration magic users in Agodale. One of the most unique assets the Highlands are home to is the world tree. It is a massive sentient tree that speaks to highlanders, sharing wisdom and knowledge with those it feels have earned it. Many believe the roots of world trees run under all of Agodale, not just the highlands. Giving it immense amounts of knowledge. Every member of the circle of Dular regularly travels to the tree to speak with it, maintaining the bond between the citizens and the land.

History
Alverton was founded as one of the first major capitals for many emerging countries. Many thought, with how quickly it formed, that Alverton would be a huge threat to rivaling countries. However, as many soon found out, the Highlanders had no intention of being such a threat. The people were much more satisfied living a peaceful life and enjoying what the land had provided for them. Citizens of the city are some of the least violent individuals among all of Agodale. They do what they can to help one another and hold each other accountable for the treatment of their home. Highlanders tend not to write each other off as irredeemable. Many believe those who make some of the darkest and most evil mistakes can still come back from them and learn to be better. This has gotten them into some trouble in the past, but they do not waver from this belief. This was something the founder of the Highlands taught his people. Bomeethius, Boomy's father, was a just and well-loved ruler because of this. He and his son have a relationship with their citizens like no other leader does.
Tourism
While tourism is encouraged within the city, many natives are hesitant about outsiders freely roaming the land, fearing they may harm or disrespect the land in some way, ruining the relationship the natives have with the land they live on.
Architecture
The architecture here is very unique. The buildings are created in such a way that they coexist with the plants and trees that existed here previously. From a distance, one could possibly miss the city, believing it is simply a large forest-type area. Dead trees were made into homes and shops. Covered by a large tree canopy that casts a shade over the city. Vines hang down and dangle from every man-made building.
