History
Originally created by the Circle of Dular as a means to gather required materiel components for the spells they cast. However shortly after millstone was created, builders from Alverton noticed to mines on their way home to Alverton. They saw the immense amount of raw unrefined minerals that could be found within the mines. They convinced some of the rulers of Alverton as well and some wealthy business owners to attempt to gain control of the mines for profit. these individuals spoke to the council of dular and heavily mislead them into what their intentions would be in the mines. The council allowed them access to the mines but quickly revoked it once they saw what was being done to the mine and how the materials from it were being used. The circle was outraged and felt betrayed by the Highlanders. Immediately they forbade the highlanders from ever entering the mines again. some of the rulers and business owners were furious with this outcome feeling they had been cheated because they had spent so much time and money in developing the mines without a good return on their investment. The conflict became so bad Boomy's father had to get involved forbidding any Highlander from stepping foot in the mines again without permission from the circle. When many of the individuals responsible for the situation were caught sending men to work in the mines anyway Boomy's father was forced to banish them and the rulers/bushiness men from the kingdom. This event almost ruined the relationship between the Highlanders and natives of the land.
