Maeda Yokura

One of the three vampire mistresses, and the middle sister of the Yokura family, Maeda, unlike Yutani, who is the warrior of the three, and Kiya, who is the diplomat of the trio, is a skilled mage and alchemist, with that being her job while the family of sisters still lived with the Nashuto in The Isle of Beasts. Although she lacks the social skills and charisma of her elder sister, and the skill with a blade of her younger sister, Maeda is remarkably intelligent and gifted with the arcane, currently travelling The Continent and hunting down the The Cult of Lilith.

Identifying Characteristics

Much like her sisters, Maeda remains rather human looking much of the time, with the exception of her red eyes, despite being a higher vampire. She has raven black hair like her older sister, resembling her a great deal, but is slimmer and frame, being much less amorous, with her far more conserved clothing being a clear indicator of this.

Personal history

Like her siblings, Maeda was once a Nashuto refugee that came to the Isle of Beasts, hoping to find a new home. She acted as the new settlement's healer, using her magic to keep back the beasts native to the area while creating potions and lotions to heal those that got injured. Eventually, the population of Nashuto on the isle began to dwindle, causing the three sisters to drink from the Bloodwell that they had taken with them, turning them into higher vampires.
Although Yutani was more interested in guarding the Bloodwell and Kiya wanted to serve her people, even after their death, Maeda was the one that wished to preserve the legacy of her people, becoming a living (as living as a vampire can be) time capsule of her people. 
After centuries of isolation, and the killing of many adventurers who attempted to take the Bloodwell, they eventually drew the attention of The Gauntlet of Kitzstadt. Sending their army of ghouls against them, the sisters were confronted by the vampire bard, Carrius Simara. Although many would assume that a fight would naturally follow, instead, due to his uncompromising charm, the sisters simply talked to the bard, realising that their life was not one that they allowed themselves to live to its fullest, the three decided to move into the Simara Estate and, when Carrius returned from all of his adventures, the Bloodwell was moved too, and once this occurred, Maeda, like her younger sibling, decided to travel.
