Kiya Yokura

Once Kiya was one of the three vampire mistresses that ruled a region of the Isle of Beasts from the Luman Tower. After suffering through the fall of her people, who had once lived on The Isle of Beasts, Kiya, along with her vampiric sisters Maeda Yokura and Yutani Yokura, swore that they would remain in the Luman Tower, protecting the Bloodwell of Luman which their people had taken with them from the Cursed Lands. Realising that, as humans, they would not live long enough to protect the Bloodwell, they drank from it, becoming the Higher Vampire Mistresses known throughout The Tirmari Archipelago.
After centuries of protecting the Bloodwell, and after a strange allocation with Carrius Simara, who was a part of The Gauntlet of Kitzstadt. at the time, Kiya, along with her sisters, found themselves residents of the Simara Estate, moving the Bloodwell there. After Carrius returned from his adventures, he turned the estate into a grand hotel, named after the sisters - called The Three Mistresses. Kiya's two sisters decided to travel, wanting to see more of The Continent, but Kiya decided to stay, surprisingly enjoying her work at the grand hotel.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Despite being a vampire, Kiya typically maintains a human form, being quite beautiful with long, jet black hair. What gives her vampirism away are her bright, crimson eyes, as well as her typically gothic clothing, with a large example of this being a long black dress, with red lacing underneath. This image of beauty of sophistication changes when she undergoes her true, vampiric transformation, with her arms elongating, her skin turning a sickly grey and her hands turning into long, claw like appendages.

Personal history

Kiya was once one of the Nashuto, refugees of the eastern section of the Cursed Lands, that came to the Isle of Beasts to start a new life. Unable to actually live on the island for long, many of the Nashuto either died out or left, leaving Kiya and her sisters alone to guard the Bloodwell, an artifact of her people which could turn mortals into vampires, then vampires into higher vampires of the Luman.
After centuries of isolation, and the killing of many adventurers who attempted to take the Bloodwell, they eventually drew the attention of the Gauntlet of Kitzstadt. Sending their army of ghouls against them, the sisters were confronted by the vampire bard, Carrius Simara. Although many would assume that a fight would naturally follow, instead, due to his uncompromising charm, the sisters simply talked to the bard, realising that their life was not one that they allowed themselves to live to its fullest, the three decided to move into the Simara Estate and, when Carrius returned from all of his adventures, the Bloodwell was moved too, with Maeda and Yutani leaving to travel.
Kiya stayed behind, becoming fascinated with Carrius. This fascination eventually turned to a courtship, where Kiya now works in The Three Mistresses hotel alongside Carrius.
