Simi Durath

A half orc druid apprentice of Tharaz Tonack, and a protector of Saol's Grove, Simi was once a pilgrim of Saol, hoping that visiting the grove of the first mortal would help her understand the meaning of her life, after suffering a great deal of discrimination for being a half orc in The Slezech Wetlands. In the last two years, after the departure of Ashara Zylris from the Grove, Simi has become Tharaz's new apprentice, as well as a caretaker of the grove, but her lacking talent, in comparison to Ashara, has made the apprenticeship difficult for the young half orc, especially as more advanced lessons come her way.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Simi is reasonably short for a half orc, standing at 5"9, while also lacking the famed strength of her orcish heritage. Despite her pale green skin, she appears fairly human, with freckles on her face and very short tusks. Her long brown hair is braided, and she is often seen wearing simple, druidic robes. Much like others who have had limbs regenerated by Tharaz's magic, her right arm appears to be had from wood with cracking veins of pure fey magic showing through.

Personal history

Born in one of the many orcish war camps of the Slezech Wetlands, being a half orc, Simi suffered a great deal of discrimination at the hands of her people, often being called a runt. During a raid on a Martian convoy, Simi was greatly wounded, with her right arm being cut off in the attack. She was left for dead, but had managed to travel to the Alderhardt border in her wounded state. There she was saved by some questing knights, who took her to a village to be nursed back to health.
After being healed, and learning of Saol's Grove, as her druidic powers eventually led to the topic being brought up, Simi travelled to the Grove to seek out a new purpose, making her way to The Ithryl Woods as a pilgrim. After reaching the Grove, she met Tharaz, along with other caretakers of the Grove, and, after the famed druid took pity on her, he regenerated her arm, making Simi her new apprentice.
