Session 1

Session Date: August 22, 2019

General Summary

A band of adventurers found themselves in the office of Xepug Malinga, who has independently been working with each of the characters, but now has brought them together for an opportunity to showcase their talents for a chance to win patronage of greater contracts. The band hesitantly agree, and decide to regroup at the Red Ruby Tavern to get to know one another better. After a few rounds, the group heads out, per instructions, to the door, which magically appears in the stone leading them to the Venture Roadshow. They walk through, and end up in a room with no exits, and run into another group in green cloaks, which they recognize as members of the pirate armada, the Masquerade. With the assistance of the fairy dragon Lakota and the soothsayer Vaarta, the group navigated a number of challenges. They quickly found themselves on the roof of the tower. It looks like a face off with the Masquerade crew is inevitable, which is when the floor beneath them begins to crumble.
