Session 2

Session Date: August 27, 2019

General Summary

The group engages in an intense escape during the tower collapse and make it to the bottom safely. The same could not be said for the Masquerade crew that was racing against them. With a chance to help them to safety, the group decides to leave the crew to their fates, which ended up including large stone crushing them to death. Lakota ushered the winners back home to wait to be contacted, and upon returning to the Red Ruby Tavern, they were covertly contacted with a myriad of contracts. After reviewing their options, the group, driven in large part by Trisandra Lightwood's hate of pirates, to the contract leading them to a remote cove where a band of pirates had made port. Before leaving the tavern to head to the contract, they run into other members of the Masquerade, and have an intense moment where they reveal they were there when the other crew members met their fate. This information reached the ears of a large, ornately decorated member of the crew, who the group briefly saw consorting with the Hiruela town guard. And so the first adventure was completed for the new band of travelers, the Four Horsemen.
