Laird of McNaughton
The Laird of McNaughton is the Clan leader for the McNaughton Clan, a sept of Clan Donald. The first Laird settled in the area of Uig in the wooded area called The Grove. The first Laird built the foundation and first floor of The Manse.
The current Laird is Seamus McNaughton. His bride Aoife, Lady McNaughton died in the year 810 CT. The Laird is a quiet and secretive type, especially after the death of his wife. The Laird spends the majority of his time in The Manse. When he was still seen in the town, he looked sullen, unkempt and sad. People whispered that he seemed to have been taken hard by the death of his wife. Eventually he no longer appeared in town. It has been several years since anyone has seen the Laird in person.
