The Grove

The Grove is a large privately owned woods located centrally in the town of Uig. At the center of the woods sits a large house known as The Manse, which is the ancestral home to the McNaughton Clan, a sept of Clan Donald.

History

The Grove is part of the natural landscape that existed at the founding of the town of Uig. The McNaughton Clan that helped found the town took ownership of the Grove and built their clan home (called The Manse) at its center.
