Oltharl

Darkdeep is a vast web of natural and carved tunnels throughout the Night Below, centered on the Mountains of Poe, but also extending deep under parts of the Craddle Valley. It is divided from the Underdeep region to the west, by the underground sea of Delargwat. Once the center of Juhl'are (dark elf) society, with three of the five great dark elf cities being here, there is little left of the glory of old. Civil conflict, wars with invading Dwarf, and the scourge of underground creatures have left little of once was. Today the dark elves only hold sway from a single city deep in the heart of the Mountains of Poe. Though powerful in their territory these people struggle to gain control of anything beyond their mountains.
