Ha Raw
the Bronze Falcon
Elder Tree Borg chose as its Narasan the great falcon Ha Raw. Like the other narasans of the ancient world Ha Raw was larger than other of its kind, growing the size of a Dragon, if not larger. He was known to hunt dragon for food, especially hating the reds of Craddle Valley and the Cutting Mountains.
Ha Raw was caught in the Gilgurth impact, burning in the flaming blast wave that covered the sky. Borg resurrected the falcon, transforming Ha Raw into the phoenix. In his new form, Ha Raw became a legendary creature across Anbar, worshipped by several ancient cultures. In Ancient Siduum Ha Raw was a god killer, many of the dragon that ruled regions of the nations.
It is unknown how Ha Raw survived the death of Borg. No other narasan survived the death of its tree. The best guess, by those studied in the myths of the elder trees, believe Borg, aware of its coming death, transferred its essence into Haw Raw, resurrecting the bird as the phoenix, thus surviving as well.
As dragons have disappeared from the world, so to have sightings of Ha Raw. The phoenix has not been seen since the fall of Ancient Siduum. Orc legends claim Ha Raw helped the Umaybbad in their conquest. Other sources contradict this. There is no denying, however, that the phoenix contributed to the fall of Ancient Siduum in that it slew the strongest of the dragons over the centuries, weakening the nations to the point of vulnerablity to the invaders.
