Nefylmon

the Heroes of Old

Little is recorded of the Nefylmon people, though their name crops up occasionally in historic texts. Nefylmon were believed to be the children of Aggel and Daemon unions in early prehistoric periods, originating in mythical Noch. They reached their height of their prominence during the Aggelomachy.

Though said to have been wiped out during that war, stories of these beings live on through history. Tales of these being appeared during the Heroic Era. These new beings were said to be the offshoots of aggel and Human of the age. Sometimes called demi-gods, other time aasimar, there were many stories of these heroes. In the surviving epics they were often depicted as tragic heroes, doomed to be their own worst enemy. Their human hubris conflicting with their divine purity. Their choices bring about their own downfall.
