Salemona is the royal family of the Hydossia queendom. The Salemona, are an ancient family from the region of Hydossia, dating back to Ancient Siduum. They were a leading family on their provence due to their tradition of raising daughters that would remain virginal and devote themselves to the dragon-gods. Thus giving Salemona power.

The family was though wiped out by the Umaybbad Orc in their conquests but came back into prominence with the United Kingdoms of Novyum defeat of the orc. The Salemona quickly allied themselves with the Novya, offering their daughters as wives to the leaders. With the decline of the United Kingdom's influence in the Craddle Valley, the women of the Salemona dynasty, many with political power from their Normon husbands, took control of the family, removing their fathers and brothers. After which, in 6659sc, the Salemona founded the modern queendom of Hydossia as an independent nation. They used the ancient traditions of their daughters ruling as claim of their rite to rule as queens. The people, oppressed for generations by orc, and normon, welcome the women and the return of the 'old ways.'

Today, the eldest have daughter of the family, Rabasa, has reigned over the nation for the sit decades. She has reformed the nation, trying to bring it into the modern age of trade, while keeping the ancient traditions alive.

Chinmayi, Rabasa twin sister, sometimes known as the Rebel Queen, reigns over the queendom of Hathor. The sisters seem on good terms. Though rarely speaking with each other, their messengers and servents pass communications of national business between them. Together they have keept Salemona strong in the modern age.
