Personal history

Lady Vera Volund's Retainer and Handmaiden. Geneve is a changeling who was abandoned in the Countryside of the Ironhold Province. She grew up as a beggar and was found by the Chaotic Seven during their first job together in service to Duke Eren Volund. She was brought back to the Duke and, after a fairly extensive interview by Volund, she was assigned as a retainer to Vera Volund. She trained alongside Vera, eager to keep her newfound home, and became the noblewoman's Shadow.
When the Castle at Foros was attacked by the assassin Ari Ashdew, Geneve protected Vera and fell defending her lady. She was revived shortly after. She now protects both King and Queen to be and has been put in charge of the Royal Guard.
She has also taken the Vows to be a Paladin of Foros.
Following the destruction of The Roost, Geneveve and Vera have been in the Kingdom of Evergarden fighting off the Imperial Military. Rumors abound how Queen Vera spent only days with her husband before leaving with her Changeling retainer. More aggravating for the Royals and Genveve are the rumors of her involvement in the King and Queen's relationship, with some accusing the Royals of including their bodyguard in the more physical aspects of their relationship. Geneveve dismisses these accusations and has become something of a terror to other nobility as she has silenced many an accuser, almost always through terrifying nightime encounters.
