Temperance
Temperance is an unnaturally old Tiefling who is a senior of the Monastery of Flowers... specifically a master in the Kensei form. Temperance is known to be a skilled and talented fighter who has a deep love of art in all forms and believes every person in the world should (and will) make art once they find their form of doing so.
Temperance has recently taken a more passive seat in the going-on's of the monastery, enjoying games of dragonchess and Pai'sho with The King and not involving himself in the politics or discussions of the monastery. The death of Elder Tai Shan caused Temperance immeasurable grief for a time and is known to have been the only time they have had a drink in their lives... they did not drink since that day.
Temperance's most memorable political move was, strangely, a rather insular and small one as they pushed for a firbolg to enter an art competition with an edible piece of art, allegedly threatening a judge with a sushi based punishment for implying that cooking was not a valid art form, that firbolg later won first place despite it's controversy.
Upon meeting him, the party found Temperance was struck by the same desire to travel as Delthea was but was hesitant due to the amount of time he has spent in the monastery and his fear over the war going-on outside of the Monastery.
Temperance has a love of weapons and agreed to give Thordak some Kensei monk training in exchange for being allowed to inspect Thordak's weapons, he also agreed to help the party enter the Scriptorium despite them being banned by Elder Aspirant Gruggz.
Temperance has proved to be a force within the monastery who desires change and is cunning enough to help Persicorum enact it but lacks the power and ability to change the monastery's ideals and philosophies himself. Temperance is the monk who explained the rules of dueling in the Monastery to Mimsi and gave her the idea to challenge Asharra Zenkei and force a confession from the sun soul master for her role in the assassination of Elder Tai Shan.
Upon learning that Elder Caste was dropping her power over the Monastery for 24 hours, Temperance thanked Persicorum and took the opportunity to escape the monastery. He travelled with Asterion The Undefeated at his side and decided to go to Freyfrost in an attempt to find his daughter and offered the party welcome if they ever came to the city.
