Kingdom of Baijan
Origins
In 2176 B.C., when eight small kingdoms on the Indras coast formed the High Kingdom of Nymera, the Magisterium of Godossea was at its height. It's smallest province was Baijan. At that time, Baijan was part of the Godossean heartland, sandwiched between the Nymeran kingdom of Anshabah and what would become the Kingdom of Dvin, but at that time was still part of the great Carentan Forest. Baijan remained part of ancient Godossea until the Fall of Alousia in the 120's B.C. As Godossea, too, began to crumble, provinces in the Magisterium began to break away. First to break from Godossea's orbit was the fey heartland of Cernoa. Soon after, an elven supremacist palace coup took control of Halaan and lead the principality out from the Magisterium's control. Baijan was to follow soon after. Fearful of the Magisterium's splintering, the Baijanese sought protection from their neighbors in the High Kingdom of Nymera. While ostensibly independent for several decades, by 87 B.C., the Kingdom of Baijan was formally admitted to the High Kingdom.Provinces
