Aldsfoort

Built by Aldric Greythorn. Located just north of the Dead Bog. The Aldsfoort houses the Greythorn line in the longhouse called Bramble Hearth. In recent times it saw a bloody coup attempt when the old lord was slaughtered by his own son, who fled after being caught in the act by his younger sister and the town guard. This turned out to be a deception on Catrin's part, as Wulfric Greythorn brought the truth to light that it was Catrin that killed their father and framed him for the horrible act. Catrin was brought to justice but was freed by Cassian Evenhell, who recruited her into his plot to sow chaos throughout Vestri. Catrin left Cassian after the events of The Only Salvation's attempted take over of Galdor. She helped revive the brother she once framed and turned herself over to the Argonian authorities who then returned her to Rrinnoroth for detainment.
The current ruler is Lord Wulfric Greythorn, who also oversees the small settlement of Ernacht close by.
