Blue Spire

A tall elegant twisting tower on the southeast of the Blue Mountains. The stones used in the construction of the tower shimmer with a florescent blue glow. The spire has no door or windows for entry and the method the old mages of Argon used to enter the tower are now lost. Modern scholars study the tower but the tower was officially abandoned by the Argonian Kingdom in 189 NA after various attempts to enter the spire failed.   Foilage now covers the tower top to bottom but the stones have never lost their glimmer. The path to the tower is still there, though overgrown.   Some claim the Spire is haunted by the spector of a mage that died there. The spector is fittingly called the Spire Spector by locals of Bluestones.

Purpose / Function

The Blue Spire served several purposes in it's time, the chief most of which was a fortification in the south of Argon where the mages could lookout for an attack coming from Vandor.   The Spire also served as a conduit for the fey energies coming from the Feywild Forest. The Mages of Argon had a keen interest in the properties and uses of Fey Magics and the tower was designed in a way to trap the ambient energy in a non-disruptive fashion.   Modern Scholars also speculate that the Blue Spire was meant to function as travel portal and that the mages had intended to build similiar structures across all of Vestri as a means of faster travel.
