Argon (Ar-gone)
A nation of men established by the men who arrived from west of Vestri. The men fled the west when their old nation was put to the torch by the Horse Lords. The men burned their boats and named the mountains they saw after the vessel, Argos. The nation also takes it's name from this boat. Argon is home to more than only men, every race can be seen here. They mine a large amount of copper from their mountains. Argon has had a rough history on Vestri and their current Sovereign seeks to improve their standing with the other Kingdoms.
Though mostly human, people of every race have been seen here
Before the nation's founding, the land was full of forests populated by elves. Likewise the dwarves lived in Argon's mountains. The men of Argon were, at first, friendly with the natives of Vestri. The city of Galdor was founded not far from where the men landed. Soon however men began to expand. Cutting down forests and clearing out mines. They began to take more and more land for themselves. When Argon expanded to it's current borders the elves and dwarves of the land began to push back.
The Dwarves and Elves of Vestri thought to expel what they considered an invasion of foreigners. There were a scant few skirmishes between men and the native people, but before all out war broke out a parley was called. The meeting with the leaders of men, the Elves and Dwarves allowed them to stay so long as they agreed to halt their expansion and stayed within the lands they currently occupied and left the Dwarves and Elves to theirs. Borders were drawn and the nation of Argon was founded, along with Vandor and Faern. This treaty was called the First Alliance Treaty.
