The Creation of the Races

Silvanus saw many Fae in his dark forests. Unhappy that part of Kek was contaminating his domain, Silvanus tried to take some of the Fae and shape them after himself. Thus became the Elves.
Duantis, jealous of this creation, worked with Gobnin to create a being to live in the mountains. Thus became the dwarves. And Giants.
Brigantia looked at both and wished for stewards to maintain her plains, and brought forth her own creations. Thus became man.
Thus became gnomes.
Thus became halflings.
Belnias wanted her forces close to her, so she chose beings and gave them wings. Thus became the Celestials.
Oloch created many things. He made strong fiends to fight, and subtle fiends to influence the actions of others in his favour. He also took the other races and created his own dark copies. Thus became Orcs, goblins and their kin.
Gods created many beings in their race for power. These being met each other, and fought and loved and traded and tended the sick and gathered knowledge.

The Spawning Stone

During the events of the Darkest Timeline, the Thanes of Order discovered secrets behind the creation of the races. Namely that the Mind of Kek, in its dying state created Limbo and the Slaad Lords before calcifying into stone. The second Slaad Lord, Ygorl then used the stone to create the Slaad race, before Silvanus then took the stone and created the Elven races. 
After the stone was misused by Belnias and Oloch during the The War of the Energies, the Stone was placed within the Goddess of Balance, Arawn, which is why she has domain over Life & Death. 
The Spawning Stone legend is still barely known within Ara, but shines new light on the Creation of the Races and could have great implications in future theological questions.
