Rufford

A hamlet in the lands of House Ayer. It is barely large enough to make it onto the map. The main trade of the people here is lumber, and most well-bodied men and women head out into the surrounding forest to cut down trees for lumber in order to support themselves.

Government

The hamlet is unofficially operated by the Lumber Association, though it has no official leader due to its size. Rufford is located in the territory of House Ayer, and thus are under their jurisdiction. Appeals from the villagers are directed to them as well, typically through the Lumber Association, which is funded by House Ayer.

Tourism

Ruffians are not particularly friendly to visitors, though they seem to particularly dislike adventurers. As a result, they also hold no love for the Bracer Guild, as it is the core reason why adventurers come to the hamlet. With it being as remote as it is, Rufford rarely sees visitors unless it's merchants passing through from Leeves.
