The Original Laws

It is written in a language known by the Cosmos, a set of Laws and Dictums which shape the reality of the material and transient realms. Deities, or those of the Divine lineage, innately understand the fundamental bounds of the Origin's design. When Diviners asked Oah for the wisdom of the Arcane, he bestowed unto them the Firmament Laws. This set of Laws helped to establish an early understanding of the inner workings of the Cosmos and the Divine, the mortal relationship to the Divine, and led to the development of the 8 Divinations, or more commonly known as, the Houses of Magic. It is widely accepted that the Lord of the Cosmos conceals greater Laws behind the Throne of Aeon- knowledge, which is best left in the hands of the Divine.

Manifestation

Origin

" I am the Original. Nothing occurs before the Origin. From the Original, Time is boundless, and for All- Life, Timeless. One in observance watches All- Life, eternal; Nothing exists without observance. Anima is the proof of Origin."

Source

"I am the Source. All- Life is bound to Source, thus is the Limit of Creation. All- Life Dreams of potential unbound; those Dreams bound to the ebb and flow of the Source. Seperating All- Life from Source is but Time and Aether. All- Life must return to the Source."

Construct

"I am the Construct. Of the Anima, a Dream once expressed; pronounces itself in the language of the Corpus. The Prime Material is the Source of Creation. Possessing a body, a Spirit, Two as One. Immutable, Two as One may live a Dream of All- Life. Separated only by Death, a vessel lingers in the Corpus, memorial; of the Anima, which exists Timeless, the Soul and Spirit divide, immemorial. As two ends of a pole, they are as one."

Domain

"I am the Domain. From one beginning, Creation; to the end, Destruction. Between each is the Ley, undivided. Balancing the Ley is the boundary of the Domain; All- Life finds a Domain in Life and Death. Domain is a Construct of Source, subject to the Source and the Divine."

Cycles

" I am the Cycle. To Fate I render the Wheel; there is no beginning and end, only phases. Of the Primal Creations, this authority given to Time, the Cosmic Flow of the spiral, repeating. Death, the Arbitter of Life, the Procreator. Of the whole, nothing sperates. The Divide is the Anathema, the abnormality of entropies! Balance reckons the tempo of the spinning Wheel."

Firmament

"I am the Firmament. A Point, pressing against a layer; fold. Trine, the angle line; fold. Threshold, open to the Aether; fold. All- Life, the forces of Cosmic flow, spiraling towards the center. All- Life gravitates to the center of the Vessel and mustn't touch these Primal Creations of the Meta- Rim. Wherein, turning inwards and with thickness, towards the outer; form and shape may hold. Lo, the Firmament and behold the Order upon which it is held and fold."

Attunement

"I am the Prime. Of the Firmament, these are the Prime Creations. Time, the Source of All-Life and flowing Ley, between the Corpus and the Anima. A Construct rises within the Domain of the Micro and Macro. Thus, the Cycle completes the Firmament. Spirit, Two as One rebels against the Aeon; yet they are bound, in procreation and principles. Behold! Forces of attraction ebb and flow, from one node of Source to another. Two As One are attuned but unbound; bound but liberated."

Constants

"Of the Primal Creations, Time and Source are attuned. Constant force directs the energy of the Ley, in its binary states. Potentials are locked in the Matter, variable in the infinite Source. The Cosmic Flow, of central force, directing all things in those natural Worlds. Their transmissive Songs will carry the Rhythm to the Meta-Rim; Source is inspired by the Songs sung through the Aeon and new forms shall appear. Time, the crusher of the Macro-Micro Cosmos, releases the spirits and the Source to the Cycle. Of the Construct of Matter and the Energy of the Domain, the Cycle repeats, recycles, and renews."

Expansion

"Of the Prime Creations, there are the boundaries, that defines the Construct, true. Yet these boundaries shall never confine the Source , only limits of volatile potential. Shifting Ley stretches the Construct, this power of the Macro to expand and contract and form matrices across and between the Realms and Domains. Time, Spellbound to Time, expands outward, pushing; the Timeless, Spellbound to Time, contracts inward, pulling. As the Worlds fall down, the Cosmic Domains move with them, eternally in flux and change."

Diminishments

Of the Prime Creations, Macro and Micro, their orbits are defined by the acceleration of Time. Protective spheres and globes, filled with polarizing energies, came to Shape through the press of the Aeon. Within Micro Worlds, blocks of Source upon the Firmament. All-Life diminishes, with the great dematerialization of Death and Time, the Aether is cleansed. Diminished Worlds scatter, the Microcosm of the Word, returning to the Macrocosm of Source."

21 Major Arcana

From the Laws are derived the 21 Truths or Major Arcana of the Laws.
0. Magic is the Infinite potential of Imagination and Will to produce Action.
1. Magic is where the spirit is- in All- Life and in the Small Things.
2. Magic is attuned to the soul, divisible by the spirit.
3. Magic is contagious- it proliferates in essence and spreads.
4. Magic is undone by Magic- Magic is bound to Magic.
5. Magic is Divine in nature, but is understood through the practice of Arcana.
6. Magic attracts unto itself the strongest potential.
7. Magic is binding and can be defined by the Will.
8. Magic is borrowed strength- be mindful and grateful.
9. Magic is temporary- it empties and diminishes.
10. Magic is able to affect an individual's destiny.
11. Magic is limited by a shallow Imagination or Will.
12. Magic is transmutable, warping and changing all the time.
13. Magic is volatile and favors none but the Absolute.
14. Magic is manifested from the Will of strong desires.
15. Magic is corrupting- it can change the hearts of Casters.
16. Magic is connected to All- Things, connecting All- Things.
17. Magic is radiant and emits traces or auras.
18. Magic is belief- in itself and in the potential within the Caster.
19. Magic is developed keenly through observance and understanding.
20. Magic is a Miracle- as such, those that abuse Magic are judged.
21. Magic is how the Cosmos interprets reality.
