Dol'Noru

Dol'Noru was founded by the ancient Elf noble Seldor D'Norutan, many years ago as a colony of the greater elven empires. Years later, the city became known as Dol'Noru and was home to the palace of an elven emperor hailing from the North, used during the cold months as a way of getting away from the long and hard winters. The palace was designed as a larger magical fortress, and some imply that many years ago Dol'Noru was designed as a place for a final stand. This is reinforced by the magical leylines carved into the palaces walls and battlements. 
When the Elven Empire collapsed, Dol'Noru was sacked both by raiders from the South as well as crusaders hailing from the Kingdoms of Arden from the West. From then on, Dol'Noru came under the protection of the elves hailing from Nor Ldewan.
