House Orlean is at the top of the Feudal Structure that currently rules over the Kingdoms of Arden, and has been in the seat of High King since it's original member, Loras Orlean unified the kingdoms under his banner. Rumors persist that Loras was a great warrior and paladin, champion of Torm, The Enduring Hand , Tyr, the Watcher , Chauntea, The Great Mother and Waukeen, The Poet. That with these blessings he finally unified the warring petty kingdoms of Arden, just in time to unite them against an invasion by a great Demon Prince of Teritus, The Plague Lord. Others claim that Loras was actually a champion of Bane, The Conqueror and Zaridun, The Changer of Ways, who pitted the petty kings against each other only to seize on their weakness and bring them all under his heel. Regardless of what truly happened, the end of the story remains the same, Loras became the first High King of the Lands of Arden, first Unifier and Ruler of the Kingsgarden.
