Bellus Mengsk
"You are deeply kind, and brave, and generous. Not to mention patient. I mean, how many hours have you spent teaching me?"Princess Bellus Mengsk is the youngest daughter to the Grand Inquisitor Pontius Mengsk of the Oreion Inquisition. Born with the incredible ability to peer into people's memories through physical contact, Bellus was often at odds with her father due to her unique nature and interest in magic. Alongside her armor clad bodyguard Hale, Bellus traveled to Crescentia to see if its people were as irresponsible with magic as many in Oreion believed. It was during her travels to The Silver Isles that she properly met The Companions, and helped them journey into the Underdark to defeat the plague-bearer of Black Vein. Bellus chose to stay in Crescentia with the Companions and aided them in many of their future endeavours, including journeying to The Black Sanctum and bringing about peace talks with the Oreion Inquisition, after she was kidnapped by Count Oilncroft. Bellus was closest with Andre Worldshaper of the Companions, as he acted as her teacher in magic and research partner. Bellus eventually confessed her romantic feelings towards him, and after the Battle of the New Dawn, the two built a castle on the east coast of Crescentia, and have apparently been inseparable since.
