Escorts are a branch of Prometh that have served the Ancient Obita - The After-Guide ever since death became a part of the mortal cycle. Unlike the combative Lightsworn and studious Attendant, Escorts function as guides for the souls of mortals across the Mortal Realm whose bodies have recently perished. Their role is to ferry them across The Cosmic Sea to whatever realm Obita has determined their soul must reside in for their afterlife. In some rare scenarios, the Escorts will bring a soul directly to Obita herself when their destination has yet to be determined, or other circumstances are preventing the soul from moving on. Regardless, Escorts are meant to be calm and caring in all situations, and to keep their personal feelings towards a mortal to themselves while guiding them.
