Lightsworn

"My will is not so easily broken. The Lightsworn shall fear the darkness no longer!" - High Executor Selendis The Lightsworn are a branch of Prometh that primarily reside in the realm of Serenia. Having long served the Ancient Selune, the Lightsworn have continually battled against the forces of darkness in creation, particularly those of the Voidborn, horrid creatures born of the primal energies of the Void. While benevolent in nature, the Lightsworn are devoted to their self-appointed duty, and can come across as callous and arrogant even to their Prometh brethren. After the horrific aftermath of the Cataclysm, many Lightsworn were protected from being corrupted due to Serenia's influence. Some Lightsworn vowed to serve The Holy Light, even those that lost their immortality. While there have been many heroes of mortalkind across the ages, many are hard pressed to find warriors that match the conviction and courage of the Lightsworn.
