Joyce
The gnome Joyce was the former (and current) lover of Jedediah of The Sanctioned. After she believed Jed had perished in his act of freeing her from Oreion prison, Joyce wandered the Kingdom of Velant until she was taken in by The Holy Light. Falling for their guise of good will and kindness, Joyce was eventually inducted into their ranks, being slowly brainwashed by Cardinal David Sarif.
Upon discovering that Joyce was being controlled by Sarif, Jed made it his mission to save her, eventually freeing Joyce from the Holy Light's control. While their reunion was bittersweet, the two eventually rekindled their feelings towards one another.
Joyce currently lives in Velant with Jed in the Trueheart estate, and while the eccentric antics of the gnome may exhaust her at times, she truly does love him.
