The Order's Candle

The year is 1997 of the Second Age. 1,000 years before the time of the Companions. 2 years into the conflict between the legendary Order of the Eclipse and the undead hordes of the Black Empire.
The Order's Candle (or the Longing Candle as it is sometimes called), is an event that took place during the Eclipse War. During this time, the members of the Order of the Eclipse, including Alathar Balefrost, Torrin Firragon, Telmin Brightforge, Golag Eagle-Eye, Teg Trickfoot, and Eclipse, journeyed south into the Mirelands of Crescentia. Their mission given to them by Mythra Crescentia, was to investigate the Longing Candle Inn, an old structure used during The Crimson Harvest, and from there acquire the eggs of a recently discovered Brown Dragon in a cave structure known as Harwell Den.
During their adventure, the Order discovered the Inn had been attacked by a member of the Black Empire, its occupants massacred. Upon finding the Brown Dragon, the party fought and destroyed Crowley, a horrid construct that served as one of Nex - The Screaming Tyrant's generals. While the order could not save the life of the Brown Dragon, they chose to save her unhatched eggs, and not use them as mounts as Mythra had originally intended.
