Personal history

Early Life and Childhood

Camilla was born to a wealthy and noble family in Daggerford. By the time she was 6, her father - Valle Seiler, was appointed Duke of Daggerford by the Viscount of Verbobonc. Living in the Castle Daggerford for much of her early life, she grew an apatite for adventure and mischief. Frequently sneaking out of the castle to mingle with the common folk, the lady quickly gained the hearts of those she walked and talked and drank with.

Teenage-Years

At the age of 18, while out hunting with some friend, she was kidnapped. A known adventurer to her father was hired to bring her home. This man, Rufus, would arrive to a bloody scene of her friends deaths at the hands of a small pack of vampire thralls. Rufus, fearing the worst, called for the aid of childhood friend and wizard Burne. The two would track the pack of thralls to a rather large den, containing a vampire lord, who had taken Camilla as his bride to be, and had already turned her into a fledgling. The vampire lord however would escape in the commotion of the attack on the den and rescuing of Camilla. Returning Camilla home, for her fathers judgement, she was taken and sheltered in one of the tallest towers of Castle Daggerford, and hidden from the world by her father and mother. For 30 years she remained hidden from the world, only allowed to write her subjects.

Young Adult Years

Rufus had always been acquainted with the Seiler family, having been a mercenary for a few jobs for Valle, and was well aware of Camilla's disease. Rufus would go a long way in restoring the damaged lady's name. So successful was Rufus in this task, that the Viscount granted Camilla the title of Duchess of Daggerford.   After successfully hunting down the vampire that kidnapped her so many years ago, Rufus discovered a journal detailing all the vampire had infected, and who had infected him - a sort of family tree of vampirism. With this journal, Camilla would discover that the man was a rouge agent of House Hierophant who had gone mad with the affliction. Contacting the distant family, she hoped to gain insight on a possible cure. Instead, Camilla found peace and happiness within the family of Hierophant. Rufus would propose to the Duchess on his fourth visit, knowing full well that she wouldn't bear any offspring with her affliction of vampirism. The two now live happily in The Village of Hommlet in a shared castle with the Burne, and co-ruler of Hommlet with Rufus.

Adult Years

Camilla still rules Daggerford, sitting on the Lowlands Council from time to time, hidden by pitch black fabrics specially woven to hide her vampiric features in shadow.   In the years living at the castle, she would come to help a scared and young Changelings going by the name Davros. Camilla would help the changeling by getting him in contact with her brood mother, The Matron of Death, Lady Basilinna Liviana-Hierophant. Being adopted into the royal family as Basilinna's newest ward, Davros found himself in a large family. His new sister, Camilla, loves him dearly, and dotes on him every chance she gets. She even has a spare room set up for him in the Castle, with instructions of the utmost privacy for her little brother.
