Katsuo is a supporting character in Deicide. He is an Akagawan human born in Consecra's season, the youngest child of Arakaki Isamu and Akagawa Kimiko. He serves as a Blades of Tranquility and performs additional duties as a Champion and as the Empress's son.

He doesn't trust Ayumu, suspecting him in his mother's illness.
Secretly, he wishes he could give up the title of Champion.
He bears one of Consecra's Fangs, a magical shard of her shattered emblem capable of transforming into a divine weapon in the hands of a Champion. He also wields a cutlass with a thorn-studded grip, a relic of his father's.

Notes

Despised by the Kasai twins for inheriting the title of Champion as their father had held, instead of them. A folk-hero loved by many, but hated among the castle. His tarot card is the Sun, meaning joy; success; celebration; positivity and, if reversed, negativity; depression; sadness. His Confliction gives him lion traits.
