Queendom of Root

The Queendom rules over the Isle of Root and the Oriental Islets.

Since the Nanos' abdication to political rule, the Queendom of Root is a symbol of the Manos branch of the Divine Family.

These are the three defining symbols of Root:

Structure

The Queendom of Root is a constitutional theocratic monarchy. The title of Queen of Root is hereditary and divine, however, the people of Root are invited to participate in the isle's government through the election of local/species representatives who sit in the Parliament (at the Palace of a Thousand Colors) and propose/vote the laws.

Culture

"Life in the capital was completely different from life in Months. Everyone dressed in the most varied styles (although there was always more reservation than with the Monthian clothes), and everyone did what they wanted: people drank and ate on the terraces, decorated their bodies with jewelry, and debated politics on garden benches. It was also not uncommon to see dragons flying freely over the organized streets."

Demography and Population

The population of Root is varied and has people from almost all species. These people were attracted by the idea of living close to the Gods in a blessed island, and thus the population grew over time, as varied as possible. The species began to interact among themselves, and so the hybrid species were a result. However, the population tends to aggregate by species. The peoples are, per number:

Foreign Relations

Nation of Night

Since the union through marriage of the Manos and Nanos branches of the Divine Family, the Queendom of Root has a very tight diplomatic relationship with the Nation of Night, its neighbooring island.

Kingdom of Sunset

The current Queen of Root Margaíhza Mabylte Manos was the daughter of the deceased Crown Prince of Sunset, of the @Holl Family. For this, the Kingdom of Sunset has sworn its unconditional support to the Queendom of Root and its rulers.

Black Kingdom

The Queen of the Black Kingdom, Shara Ash, was Margaíhza Mabylte Manos' adopted daughter, and so the two isles have tight diplomatic relations.
