Demographics

The population is mostly human. Brancaster also has a sizeable half-elf population, as elves are a common sight in the coastal regions of the Green Valley.
The Iron Highway brings in many people, and a diverse set of people can be found in the city. However, with the laws of the country in place, beastfolk races, like gnolls and minotaurs, are nearly never seen here.

After The Great War, the Kingdom of Gimora fell and was split into several smaller countries. One of these was Branca, and Brancaster was named as the capital city.
In early 4A 995, the Zenethian Children came to Brancaster after leaving their Hometown. They met with King Alphonse Brancana, who tasked them with delivering missives to other countries at the start of the Manslayer War.
In late 4A 996, Rath, the Blackguard, left the nearby war camp and entered the dungeons of the castle. There, he was tricked into releasing a doppelganger from a magically supressed cell.
