Castle Branca is the main government building and fortification in Brancaster, the capital city of Branca, the Kingdom of the South. It is also the residence of King Bernhard Brancana and the royal family.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow

In early 4A 995, the Zenethian Children came to Brancaster after leaving their Hometown. They met with King Alphonse Brancana, who tasked them with delivering missives to other countries at the start of the Manslayer War.
In late 4A 996, Rath, the Blackguard, left the nearby war camp and entered the dungeons of the castle. There, he was tricked into releasing a doppelganger from a magically supressed cell.
