Gaerna Ambar is a port city of
Soretta, the Undying Aristocracy, and is a major city in the White Stone Cliffs region of
Haradren Gaer Arnad. It is located to the north of
Sarnhén-tul, and is located on the
Bay of Grasses.

Demographics
In the late Fourth Age, the populace was almost entirely elves. The isolationism of the elves prevented other races from settling in Sorettan lands. However, as this was a major port, ships from other nations at the city's docks could be seen carrying peoples of many different races.
In the Fifth Age, with the changing of elven isolationism, other races have slowly started to settle in some of the cities of Haradren. As Gaerna Ambar is a major port, its populace has changed most significantly as elven culture continues to shift.
History
The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
In 4A 995, the
Zenethian Heroes arrived to Gaerna Ambar via the
Black Barrow. They created magical fireworks as they brought the ship to dock. Later in 4A 995, the Heroes sailed from Gaerna Ambar after they were banished from Soretta.
The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
At some point around a week before 23 Madaet 5A 352,
Ilmendwyth left Gaerna Ambar aboard the
Amarth'rilain to investigate the spread of corruption in
Tarteria.
