The common people grew restless and began to chafe under the yoke of their rule, and rumors began to circulate about the mysterious Sons of the 7th Seal, an organization dedicated to protecting the people of Valtara from the forces of darkness. As the power of the Seventh Seal Guild grew, House Arcturus found themselves increasingly isolated and vulnerable. They tried to resist the Guild's influence, but their efforts were in vain. In the year 134 CY, the Guild launched a massive assault on House Arcturus, using their powerful magic to lay waste to the noble family's strongholds and armies. Despite their best efforts, House Arcturus was unable to fend off the onslaught. The Guild's power was simply too great, and in the end, House Arcturus fell from power, their lands seized by the victorious Guild. Though the Arcturus bloodline survived, they were stripped of their title and their lands, reduced to mere wealthy nobility rather than a ruling class. And while they continued to thrive in the years that followed, their fall from power remained a cautionary tale, a reminder of the dangers of unchecked ambition and the ever-present threat of dark forces lurking just beyond the horizon.
