Caeloch (KAY-lock)

Caeloch is the capital of the Triton Empire beneath the waves. Under the Bellbonear Deep between Anteall and Eribax, it is well situated to trade with the Sea Dwarves of Umberfort, the halflings of Glimmermist, the goblinoids of The Dead Barrens, and the pirates of the Port of Gallants. The Tritons generally keep to themselves, and while The Chatia Empire has a number of trade deals which seem to indicate a desire for annexation, they have thus far avoided the fate of all surface territories south of the Husura Oceans through a combination of skillful political maneuvering and the general inaccessibility of their settlements. Despite the Imperium's regular offers of "assistance" administrating its institutions, Caeloch maintains a thriving trade between various hostile factions and is fully capable of carrying out its business without Imperial interference.
