Eric Harmon (a.k.a. Uncle)
Eric Harmon has lived in New York since his father moved from the mid-west after becoming more financially stable innovating new efficient farm procedures. This wealth and good luck did not last long as he was mugged and subsequently disabled. Perhaps in response to this or for reasons unrelated, when Eric was older he worked in law enforcement. Eric was part of an
FBI in a drug busting ring to uncover the
Slappers drug trade. He was close to finding hard evidence when he was found guilty of murdering a fellow agent. The witness to the crime was a fence who exclaimed Eric turned on his fellow agent and was going to turn on him next when fellow agent
Sofia Fairchild arrived on the scene seeing Eric, gun in hand and recently fired. He was sent to Club Fed where he served 2 years and was released for good behavior. There were concerns of retaliation of the drug lords given how close he was to uncovering their operation.
From Eric's arrest there were a series of internal investigations within the FBI department resulting in the "early retirement" of previous Director
William Talbot, transfer of
Nick Valentine into internal affairs. With the vacancy in directorship
Jacob Kane has been appointed to fulfill the responsibilities. Several months later a series of new hires and promotion of
Agent Harding has changed much of the department's staff. Motivated by rumors of corruption and suspicions that his judge was blackballing him, Eric's lawyer and Warden were motivated to gain notice and have Eric pardoned by the governor. Though this had effectively ended his 8 year stellar performance with the agency.
Being brought together with the group has not improved his disposition. Initially skeptical of the goings on. He has been integral to the team testing and honing their abilities even arranging a practice before the group went to infiltrate
Club Paradise. Eric has worked to assist the group gaining supplies including
Dart Gun ,
Eric's Apartment as a place to stay and acquired his uncle's Jeep to aid in transportation. Whether this is a sign his fortunes are changing for the better or merely quiet before the next storm, only time will tell.
