Old District
This is the original settlement of the town. One can find old architeture, and charming artisan shops hidden among the govenment buildings. It's a great place to be able feel as if one has stepped into the past while being able to see and give input on the government.
The Port
This is a busy district. There are a variety of warehouses and canneries. Fishing boats are coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Large boats go out with exports to other countries with imports coming in this way as well. Custom officials are kept busy but insist on not having to work nights unless there's no other choice. There are a few restuarants that are famous for serving fresh seafood with excellent views.
Nightstair
This district is home to the The Shadowsong Order. It is a dark district that many people try to stay out of but there are many who don't have enough money to live anywhere else to live. It's a place where illicit goods can be bought and sold.

Six Mires
This district butts up against Old District. Many nobles have lavish homes here. This district was once a bog. There are still areas where this bog can be seen. It has claimed many lives, especially when the people were first trying to expand into this area. Many of the homes here can still be seen on stilts, a testamany and an honoring of the history of the district and the capital. There are some exclusive restaurants in this district that will only server to the nobles and their guests.
Noon Road

Lined with shops, cafes, and theaters, it bustles with activity throughout the day. At noon, when the sun reaches its zenith, the street comes alive with the sounds of commerce and conversation.

South Road
South Road is a residential district characterized by rows of elegant townhouses and manicured gardens. Lined with trees and flower beds, it exudes an air of tranquility and refinement. Residents enjoy easy access to parks, cafes, and cultural attractions, making it a sought-after neighborhood for the middle-class.
Applegate
Situated on the west side of the city, it is outside the city walls. This district is open and is best known for its orchards of fruits. There are warehouses for storing the fruits, shops that sell the fruit (whole, candied, and as jams), and jammeries where the jams are made. This district employs almost half of the capital's population for working the orchards, jammeries, shops and warehouses. Every so often there are tours of the orchards and jammeries.

And this is where I'd be asking Infinite Grace to save me from myself. I'd become glutten in the Honey Song and Applegate districts. I can never seem to get enough honey or apple jam. What can I say I have a sweet tooth? And honey and apple jam... my achilles' heel. A jar of these usually helps pull me out of my studies to attend a family gathering. At least they only do it for important events... Don't know if they do it for my health or for their pockets. Does it really matter? Sitting back and pondering that question brings me to the answer of no. They allow me to do my work, mostly uninterrupted, and I'm there for the important stuff like weddings and whatnots. Plus, at least they know how to get my attention. (laughs) How much trial and error did it take them to get my attention? Or do they actually know me better than I give them credit for?
