Old Willow Woods

Localized Phenomena

The trees almost seem to whisper to each other. Moonlight filters through the canopy in certain sections, acting as a spotlight (that doesn't flicker or move a lot, not even to length shadows).

History

This is woods started out as just a small strand of willow trees covering just over an acre. Scarlett Forge lived in a cottage in this strand of trees and used the Wild Growth to make the strand into a forest of ancient towering willows. The Lost Dragon Tribe got caught inside them as the trees made a clearing where they slept, a near perfect circle.

Tourism

This was an occassional stop off for travellers as they between Orilon and Lemosh as this was a great place to find shade and a good camping spot on the edges. The Lost Dragon Tribe is one such group who did this, much to their detriment. Not many people went inside these woods even before Scarlett Forge expanded them. Most people found the energy of these woods to be too much for them, too strong, and some said too dark. It was this energy that attracted both the Lost Dragon Tribe and Scarlett Forge. Scarlett Forge is the only one who has willingly made the interior of these woods her home.

There is so much to unpack here. This place shaped the Lost Dragon Tribe as much as what came before and after. It was also a place of great healing for Scarlett Forge, why else would she go back out into the world?
