Seven of the tribes Southwest of The Narog Mountain Range, all of whom live around the Smara River, allied in preperation of the War of the Rivers.
The War of the Rivers was fought between the tribes living around the Samara River and the tribes living around the Quioté River. In 1020, half of the Quioté River tribes, the southern tribes, signed a peace treaty with the Samara River Tribes. The war lasted almost fourteen years but finally ended when the inland Quioté River tribes were conquered by the Samara River tribes.
After the death of Chief Bhaltair, his son Faolán succeeded him as leader of the Isendreen tribe and the old alliance. He was crowned king by the old chiefs of the Samara River Tribes, in accordance with his father's wishes.
At his wedding, King Faolán murdered all of the chiefs from the tribes his father had been allied with and the unconquered Quioté tribes. Once they and their heirs were dead, Faolán declared himself lord over them all.
The arrival of the Luminaran Traders was the first meeting between the Isendreen people and the people of the Tarian Continent. This meeting led to many advancements in Isendreen society and technology.
With the death of King Sorin Faolach, King Faolán's line died. After his death, the Isendreen nobility traced their roots back to his nephew King Víðarr Radu, who became king after him.
Little is known about the White Death. Doctors have concluded that it likely came from contaminated water that entered the Samara River in Arenoo and traveled to the coast, killing thousands in its wake. No one is sure how the water was cleaned, but no cases of the White Death have been reported since 250 AnCog.
Bradgada, the former capital of Isendree, was, as the survivors told, burned to the ground by a fire started in Prince Calogero chambers, which spread to the rest of the castle and then to the city. The citizens fled down river with the Prince, his wife and child, setting up a new capital, Kiara, on the coast.
The first recording of Kuloonfu ’Umeei was discovered in 1000 AnCog in a ruin outside of Kiara that dated back to 250 AnCog. Kuloonfu ’Umeei, roughly translated to marriage week, is still observed today in Isendree.
The Treaty of Altena was signed by the nations of Isendree, Kiranin, Arenoo, Nyrona, Mangai, and Dahkan. It concretely stated where the borders are on the Narog Mountain Range, gave control over the area's resources over to the Miner's Guild and outlined the rules surrounding the Miner's Guild's control over the area.
The People's Revolution started after the people of the lower Quioté river tribes sucessfully seceded from the country. It involved four of the six lower Samara River tribes that were conquered by their ally the Isendreen tribe. Unfortunatly this revolution failed to help, and in many ways hurt, its participants, it did bring many people back to their culture heritage, and began a kind of silent revolution.
The Protest for Representation was a three-day protest that took place outside the King's Parliament. While many of the protester's original demands were not met, they did gain true representation in parliament, which is where the protest got its name.
Although the expulsion of the Fae began in Isendree, it quickly spread to its allies, including the Grand Dutchy of Lubria, Arenoo, and Corbic. More than a thousand Fae died during the expulsion. The majority of the Isendreen Fae moved to Kiranin, one of the few countries that were not only not expelling Fae but were also accepting refugees.
