Falradian Army
The Falradian Army is the land branch of the Falradian Military. As the largest and most active branch of the Falradian military, it is responsible for defending the Kingdom's territory from external and, at times, internal threats.
The Falradian Army can trace its roots to the Falradian Imperial Army, which was formed to fight the War of the West long before the Kingdom of Falradia was established as a nation.
After the Second War of Terror, the Royal Council created the Falradian Army on 7th Jundum, 23003 AF, to replace the disbanded Coalition Army.
The Falradian Army is often divided into the following units:
- The Grand Army, which is only called upon during large scale wars, comprises all six field armies led by either the Monarch or the Heir Apparent, be they Prince or Princess.
- Field Armies comprises two corps or one hundred and sixty-one thousand and two hundred eighty-four soldiers led by a Lord or Lady Marshal.
- Corps comprises five divisions or eighty thousand and six hundred forty-two soldiers led by a General.
- Divisions comprises four brigades or sixteen thousand and one hundred twenty-eight soldiers led by a Knight Commander.
- Brigades comprises three battalions or four thousand and thirty-two soldiers led by a Knight Captain.
- Battalions comprises six companies or one thousand three hundred and forty-four soldiers led by a Knight Sergeant.
- Companies comprises four platoons or two hundred and twenty-four soldiers commanded by a Captain.
- Platoons comprises of four squads or fifty-six soldiers led by a Lieutenant.
- Squads comprises of a group of thirteen soldiers led by a Sergeant.
