Falradian Rangers

The Falradian Rangers are personnel from elite units with the official designation of "Ranger". In a broader and less formal sense, the term "ranger" has been used officially and unofficially in Falradia since the Imperium to describe elite sword and bow infantry operating in small, independent units, usually, companies carrying out special operations.
The first units to be officially designated Rangers were companies recruited in the Lourian colony of Dantel by the Imperial Army to fight in the War of the West.
The Falradian Rangers act as the most elite of the Falradian Military, training in a specialised military academy in the Grand City of Dantel and the nearby Elvenwood Forest before carrying out complex or even seemingly impossible missions and still persevering. They are equipped with the best equipment available to the Falradian Military, to the disdain of the soldiery of the Falradian Army and Navy.
