Emperor Erlan the Founder's Life
Emperor Erlan is the founder of the Matnum Empire and the first Emperor to be crowned in the history of his glorious empire. He married his wife, Elora Ravencrest, fifteen years into his reign, and six years later, she gave birth to their first child, Elora Wulfric II. By the year 33 EC, his wife gave birth to his eldest son Erlan Wulfric II, and two years later, his successor Kellam was born as well. When his youngest child was four, he promised his daughter Elora to the son of his Emperor Regis, Lord Ralors. Princess Elora was 18 at the time, and her betrothed was 28. Their wedding was years later, on th evening of the princess' 21st birthday.
Years later, in the year 54 EC, magic was discovered in Crudal. Emperor Erlan commanded that magic be kept secret from his people and punished anyone who went against this order. This included Arcaena Landris. Arcaena Landris went against his orders and announced the discovery of magic to the people of Matnum, earning her an execution sentence. This brought about a rebellion, demanding her release. In the year 58 EC, Erlan granted his people their wish and let Arcaena go. Two years later, Prince Erlan married her.
Five years later, Kellam grew jealous of his brother's claim to the crown. He grew to resent Prince Erlan and eventually poisoned him. The murder was framed on a lord of the Matnum Empire, another enemy of Kellam, and Kellam was made the new Crown Prince.
Emperor Erlan's reign came to an end on the 7th of Jumill, 85 EC, when he caught the deadly plague that was sweeping across his kingdom and succumbed to the disease. He was succeeded by his son Kellam, who was named Emperor Kellam the Devious. Emperor Erlan passed away in the arms of his wife, who refused to leave her husband's side in his final days.

Fifteen years after his coronation, Emperor Erlan takes Lady Elora Ravencrest as his wife. They lived in happy marital bliss for 70 years before Erlan passed away in 85 CE. Before Erlan's death, the happy couple had three kids together, Elora Wulfric II, Erlan Wulfric II, and Kellam Wulfric I.
