Ruanon
Ruanon is a nation built around the largest surface city of our world also called Ruanon. It's a wealthy empire that currently holds the most diplomatic weight in our world. Even though there are a few other large empires, the dali of today know that "imperial" means Ruanon.
Structure
Ruanon's mindset of the capital taking priority over everything else extends to its structure too. The World Council for example is not attended by the Emperor, but instead by a representative from the capital. And just like that the city of Ruanon has jurisdiction over everything else.

History
The nation was founded by an Elf, that some speculate came from Zha'dia. Most often simply called The Founder - he laid the foundations of the capital. Thorought the times the capital went through two major expansions, where additional "layers" (a set of districts surrounded by a circular wall) were added to it. The nation itself was proclaimed shortly after it reached this size.
Demography and Population
The demography of Ruanon is split into two - the imperials and everyone else. Those living in the capital city of Ruanon are considered to be the "main citizen" of the empire (thus the name imperials) while those living in the surrounding settlements often feel themselves secondary in the eyes of the empire.
Military
The Imperial Army of Ruanon is considered strong enough to make them a regional power.
Religion
Although faith is not enforced on a personal level, you won't find churches for deities outside of the state religion.
Foreign Relations
They are always looking for more trading partners.
