Cape St. Joan Superhuman Association for Public Security

The Cape St. Joan Superhuman Association for Public Security, more commonly known simply as The Capes, are a group of Sanctioned Supers under direct government employment and supervision. They are one of two sanctioned teams in charge of maintaining public security in Cape St. Joan, Oregon, the other one being the privately employed Knights of Arc.
Their headquarters are situated in the Capetower.

Structure

The Capes are under direct supervision and authority of both the city of Cape St. Joan and the Department of Superhuman Affairs. During their daily activities, they are commanded by the Cape St. Joan Police Department, though in time of emergency the DSHA can assume direct command, such as to request assistance for incidents outside of the city limits or to better coordinate with other Sanctioned Super teams within the city. Sierra Rogers serves as the current acting director.
The Cape Youth Outreach is a group within the Capes whose purpose is to train young sanctioned supers and allow them to gather experience under the older and more experienced members of the normal team. Except for emergencies, their duties are usually limited to patrols.
