Minotaur
Minotaurs originally hail from the Southern Wilds of Andu'ra. They are said to dwell in an ancient stone city along the southern coast called Kal'dori.
Some myths about their creation state that they were born in the depths of Kal'dori when a young humanoid woman who fled the Dragons, prayed to the Elders Gods and was approached by The Father of Lies who approached her in the form of a horned and hooved devil and offered her protection in exchange for devoting her body to him.
Scared, terrified, and alone, the woman agreed and became a concubine to the Father of Lies. However, as the Age of Fire dragged on, the dragon's terrible wrath found the lost city now known as Kal'dori and brought it to ruin. The woman died in the attack, and begged The Father of Lies to save their unborn child - but he did not. He had abandoned the woman to pursue other things.
But The Speaker of Law appeared before the woman and offered to save her child if the terrible monster would be bound by the law, and thus thwart any terrible influence it might have on the world from its father's influence. The woman agreed and thus did the Speaker of Law reach into her and release the first minotaur in the world, and bound to the child the first duty with the word of the law - to build a kingdom of laws and order in this savage land.
The Speaker of Law then took the child into the world and away from the dying mother, and gave him the name "Kal'Dor" - a name that meant Oathsworn in the language of the minotaur.
The veracity of this myth has been disputed by both the scholars of Brighthurst and the priests of Triswell, as no deity is able to physically manifest within the Veil that surrounds the Great Disc. A minotaur scholar once rebutted with "Your gods may be so weak, but we worship the Elder Ones."
