Pal was appointed to the position of Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild in 5A 3 following a tumultuous rebuilding following the Night of Ashes. He has remained in the position of guild master since, living out his long years at Heroes' Vigil where he constantly keeps on top of matters and works to ensure that the Guild continues operations.
Contacts & Relations
His list of personal relations and contacts is fairly small. He has however kept a good relationship with whoever the current Castellan of the keep is, as well as all of his employees, though even then there is no record of them being anything more than just workplace friends. He does have a small pet, a pseudodragon named "Harrow".
Family Ties
Pal has no known family. While its not heard of for gnomes to lose or grow distant from kin, it's rare for them to keep their full name - including the personal family name, home name, and clan name - in formal documentation. Pal does this. Which is even more baffling when no one has found any trace of any of three family names in records. Pal has formally stated that he lost everything in the Night of Ashes and remains the only survivor of his family.
Religious Views
Pal makes no secret of his worship of the Gods of Order. He regularly makes prayers to Pirotegon. However, he does not worship at the chapel of the Holy Church in Heroes' Vigil. When questioned, he's mentioned that it's not ideological but merely a comfort issue.

Pal owns a pseudodragon named Harrow.
Speech
His tone is gentle but confident. He prefers to be direct with others and not waste time with formality or unnecessary flattery. However, he does not shy away from honest praise when he feels it is deserved.
Wealth & Financial state
Despite his position and long life, Pal apparently has very little wealth. He has a small personal apartment he keeps in Heroes' Vigil, and keeps a pocket of tin pieces that he offers to the hungry and needy or to down on their luck adventurers.
