River Quarter

The river quarter is the poorest district by far... though by the standards of most cities, these people are staunchly middle class. The wealth of the mines finds its way to almost every citizen of Mirabar  in one way or another, thanks to the rigid rules of pay and compensation that the dwarves enshrined in law at the founding of the first mithril mine.
However, this area is where many of the less common races of Mirabar call home. And while there seems to be an air of "working class" here, a keen observer will notice a lot of nice clothes in the style of the peasant class of other settlements. Inns, taverns, shops, all have a raucous reputation, but are surprisingly clean and well-kept.
This is where most people who would be looking for less savory business to conduct would be drawn. Fences, Fixers, Pawn shops and even a rumored haunt of the local 'Thieves Guild' or two populate this quarter.
