The Autumn Forest

The Autumn Forest is ruled by King Rallen, married to Queen Alvena, and with three children, the eldest being the crown prince, Prince Yrvell, and the other two being Prince Ceiris and Princess Maethothe. The Autumn Forest, as its name suggests, is a forest in a perpetual state of autumn. The Autumn Forest is home to the Autumn Shrine, an elaborate monument in the centre of the Forest. Eladrin born in the Autumn Forest retain their autumnal qualities regardless of environmental season, as they go through a ritual somewhat like baptism as a coming of age ceremony in the waters of the Autumn Shrine; royals of the Autumn Forest undergo this ceremony at birth. Eladrin born outside of the Forests may also go through this ritual if they wish to become a citizen of the Autumn Forest, though adult citizens of the other four Forests may not undergo this ritual, as they have already undergone the ritual of their own Forest. Eladrin of the Autumn Forest have a calm personality, despite their fiery appearances. They are generous, and never hesitate to offer aid to those in need, though many in the Feywild do not accept this aid, as it contrasts dramatically with the culture of the Feywild as a whole. Autumn Forest Eladrin share all of their belongings, with little understanding of personal or private property. They also traditionally have dozens of holidays, on each of which is a feast. However, as they are still Fey, Eladrin are aware of the Laws of Hospitality, and are also bound to them, and while they are instinctually trusting, they still can see through fey tricks, though they are less likely to themselves be tricksters.
